As if the idea of being sent to a camp aimed at changing gender or gender isn’t worrisome enough, Blumhouse Productions’ new movie h/them (formerly known as Whistler Camp) is looking to take the concept to an even scarier setting, which is set for the first time on streaming service Peacock in August. Movie star Kevin Bacon, who is adding an extra layer of significance to the world of horror, has come up with one of his standout performances at the popular summer camp. Friday the 13th Back in 1980.
“h/them It has been growing inside me all my life. I’ve loved horror movies for as long as I can remember, I think monsters represent the “other,” and as a kid like me I’ve felt a strong sense of kinship with those characters who were different, taboo, or taboo,” writer and director John Logan shared in a statement: “I wanted to make a movie. It celebrates the weird, with characters I never saw when I was growing up. When people walk away from the movie, I hope they will remember the incredible love these children have for each other and how that love should be protected and celebrated.”
Kevin Bacon plays Owen Whistler in this horror movie set in an LGBTQIA+ conversion camp. Many gay and transgender campers join Whistler for a week of programs designed to “help them find a new sense of freedom.” As camp methods become increasingly psychologically disturbing, campers must work together to protect themselves. When a mysterious killer begins killing the victims, things get even more dangerous.

The film is not only entertaining and exciting, but it also empowers its audience with a message of acceptance in a way that only a creator like John Logan can imagine and then bring to life.”
The film also stars Anna Klimsky (Inventing anna, vape), Theo Germaine (Adam’s politician), Carrie Preston (Claws, Doctor of Death). kui tan (How to get rid of murder, dear whites), Austin Crot (Booksmart, Dawn)Monique Kim (Those who expect too much, that seems to kill), Anna Laure (Every American, Dom Patrol), Cooper Koch (Below Zero, a Christmas wedding in New Yorkand Darwin Del FabroSerious Communications, Novo Mondo).
h/them For the first time on the Peacock on the fifth of August.
